Successful Online Presentation of ETSI ZSM PoC#16 “Automation Platform Across Multi-site and Multi-stakeholder Environments”
We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the online presentation for ETSI ZSM Proof of Concept #16, titled “Automation Platform Across Multi-site and Multi-stakeholder Environments.” The event was hosted via the ETSI Portal and proceeded as planned, showcasing significant advancements in cross-domain orchestration.
The session presented the outcomes of PoC#16, exploring how the ACROSS orchestration platform extends across domains and organisations to automatically provision compute, network, and service components while maintaining service levels, security, and trust.
Presenters
- Georgios P. Katsikas, UBITECH
- Kostis Trantzas, UoP
- Lluis Gifre Renom, CTTC
- Dimitrios Triantafyllou, WINGS
PoC Contributors
UBI, UoP, PNET, NOVA, K3Y, CTTC, WINGS, LMI, TID, UPM
About the PoC
The presentation demonstrated a scenario where an open orchestration platform, already managing a certain domain in the city of Athens, successfully executed:
- (i) The expansion of the orchestration platform towards a new private domain in a zero-trust fashion and with a high degree of automation.
- (ii) The automated provisioning of compute, network, and end-user services across the new and the existing domains.
- (iii) Policy-based access control towards service components coupled with a proactive preservation of a multi-domain SLA in a truly zero-touch manner.
Acknowledgments
We would like to thank the community for joining the session and exchanging insights into automation and interoperability in next-generation network environments. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Antoine Burckard and Diego R. Lopez, for chairing this meeting.

About ACROSS
ACROSS is a HORIZON-JU-SNS-2022 funded research project that designs and implements an end-to-end service deployment and management platform for next generation networks and services, aiming at unprecedented levels of automation, performance, scalability, and energy efficiency. The platform is further enhanced with a) deep end-to-end telemetry to unlock visibility of the intertwined network and compute system states, b) AI-driven intelligence that leverages both the vast number of events originating from the dense IoT ecosystem and detailed monitoring data originating from the ACROSS telemetry sub-system, to generate new insights, c) full-stack cross-domain zero-touch provisioning via programmable “hooks” that exploit events originating from raw telemetry and AI processed events, and d) secure and trusted orchestration mechanisms for trusted computing technologies over large and heterogeneous cloud-edge deployments, as well as orchestration and monitoring of the security VNF.
